Trail Alert: Saturday 16th November 2024: The Ride the Wilderness Event will see a large number of riders racing through the trail throughout the day from start points in Ross, Hokitika, Cowboy Paradise and Kumara finishing adjacent the Karoro Domain, Greymouth. Please take care on the trail and, if possible ride in a northly direction.

Wednesday 17th July 2024 Trail Alert: Due to stop bank work along the Hokitika River, the trail is being relocated around the road as per the map below for the next 14 weeks weather dependent. The rest of the trail is open. Directional signage is in place. The Westland District Council apologises for any inconvenience.
